The pub is a good size and features a good number of TVs for watching sporting events, they also bring out a projector for watching the bigger sporting events. There are a couple of pool tables to test out your skills – although the staff could do with charging a deposit for cues or something as they are usually is poor condition.

I’m reviewing the pub part of this premises as I’ve never been a guest of the Hotel side of things.
The pub is a good size and features a good number of TVs for watching sporting events, they also bring out a projector for watching the bigger sporting events. There are a couple of pool tables to test out your skills – although the staff could do with charging a deposit for cues or something as they are usually is poor condition.
The food is simple and or average quality but the prices are fair and their always deals on.
The pub is near Edinburgh and Napier unis so there are a fair few students about – and there are plenty of cheap student deals on.

I'm reviewing this hotel, not as a guest but as a visitor to the very popular beer garden at the front of the hotel that fronts Bruntswick Links park.
A fine and popular summer spot after a round of pitch-and-putt on the public golf course.
Looks like the kind of pub where big sporting events would be watched, lots of big screens inside and sporting memorabilia etc.
