    Good Shows
    Current
I have been here a few times, to see Riverdance, Catz and Beauty and the Beast. All of which have turned out to be a really good night. The shows are always of really good quality (although I didn't particularly enjoy Catz). The tickets are cheaper than any other theatre that offers the same plays. You can buy a drink at the bar then swap it into a plastic cup to take into the theatre with you.

The experience is pretty expensive. Buying a drink there is expensive, buying any soveigners is expensive, buying a snack is expensive. It can also get very packed and can be difficult to see the play sometimes if your small.

    Lovely Building
    Current
The Playhouse is a lovely building. Easy access whether going there by car or bus because it is very central. They have a very varied programme all year round, from musicals, to dancers to plays. Was taken here last year to see Beauty and the Beast, and it was an amazing show. It can be a bit tightly packed and if you are small and have someone tall sitting in front of you, then you can struggle to see at times. Other than that I can't think of any cons for visiting the Playhouse. Their shows are always guaranteed to draw in a good crowd.
