Reviews for Jolly Judge
Whilst on my stag do in Edinburgh, my father (who happily joined in with the youngsters!) took me around some of the great pubs in the city. One of them was The Jolly Judge, which is located off the main road in a courtyard. Enter the pub and you will immediately notice its old roof, covered with many bank notes in various different currencies from around the world – a nice touch.
The landlord was a very friendly chap who welcomed our large party with open arms. Due to the small size of the alehouse, we sat outside on the benches in the courtyard – even though it was September, the weather was fantastic.
In the corner of the pub, leading up to the toilets, there’s an old arcade machine boasting Namco classics, which is an unusual feature, but we made the most of it!
