Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere make you feel right at home when you settle down with a drink in The Last Drop. The drinks are reasonably priced and there's a decent range on offer including a varied offering of whisky.
During the day there's a varied food menu providing good value, traditional, filling favourites.
And for that added bit of fun, there's blackboards and chalk in the toilets for you to leave your mark.
Can often be busy (like everywhere in the Grassmarket) but even when it is and you can't get a seat, it still doesn't feel overly cramped, but you need to be will to get a bit close with strangers!
All in all, one of Edinburgh's best traditional pubs.
