  cocktails!

  Dragonfly concentrates on cocktails with a small choice of beers to help the wallet. There's a huge range of cocktails and the friendly staff will conjure up anything in particular if you can't decide. The mojitos are highly recommended!
  While it's very much a trendy young persons bar it's friendly to all though can get quite noisy and crowded at weekends as you'd expect. It's just a shame that all vestiges of the previous fire station have been erased as it is still known as "Braidwoods" to most folk and given the history of the building it's a shame to lose that.

  Try the Bajian Basil

  This is my favourite cocktail bar in Edinburgh, when it's not too packed...
  It used to be the Old Fire station, but has been very nicely decorated. It's quite trendy.
  The cocktails are lush, especially the bajian basils which I always drink too many of! I like chilling on the sofas upstairs and getting table service. Tables can be booked for special ocassions - a good idea if it's the weekend.
  It's a bit pricey, but that's the norm for cocktail bars.
  Oh, and it's a good place to see pretty boys and girls!
