I liked dynamic earth a lot, it is probably directed more for kids and not THAT iteractive but it informs you about how the earth was created and various systems on the earth such as glacial system etc. Good for a day out but you couldn't go very often. Think its about £8 per adult to get in so not too bad seeing as it is in the centre of Edinburgh. You can park at Leith (by Royal Yacht Britannia) for free and get the bus in for about £1. It is about a 10min bus ride from Princes Street Gardens, so worth getting the bus to save weary legs!!

Ive visited Dynamic Earth several times now, but I was slightly disappointed. Its a good concept but I didnt overly enjoy the whole thing, and think its probably geared more towards younger children. Having said that my bf really enjoyed it so perhaphs its more to do with what you are interested in.
