Reviews for The Allotment

We found this Restaurant quite by chance and had a really excellent meal. It is run by Dave Flynn, who came to have a chat and a glass of wine with us. Apparently it has only been open for a few months and he is sourcing all the food from local suppliers - including his wife's allotment hence the name of the restaurant - and the meal tasted so fresh you could tell. We think it is the best place to go to before or after taking a ferry to the continent and recommend it to anyone. We had dinner, which he serves on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but apparently he is open for breakfast and lunch every day except Sunday and Monday.
