One of Doncaster's most iconic buildings, this centre located just opposite the race course has something for everyone.

Although fairly new to the area, I have already been to the Dome for a wedding fair, a music and cd sale, swimming, ice skating and to see the comedian Jimmy Carr live.

The location is very convenient in terms of access (both by car and public transport) and the parking is ample. The Dome has plenty of options and all are reasonabally priced. Season passes for swimming, skating etc are available to reduce the cost still further. The staff are knowledgable and keen to help. The dining and bar facilities are good although can get very busy during a popular event or show.

The facilities can also be booked for private parties although I have personal experience of how good these are. This truly is a blessing for those with children to entertain over weekends and holidays and provides plenty of opportunities for adults, childrens and families to have some quality time.

Doncaster Dome is a great place to go for all ages. I used to bring groups of young people here when I was employed as a youth worker. Now a mother of 2 small children, I take my family there.

The pool is great, even for little ones. They have a very shallow area for toddlers that is equipped with a slide and fountains, which makes it exciting for them. The "normal" pool has lots of floats available and a waterfall that you can go under and behind.

Although 3 of the slides are for swimmers only, with a min. height, there is one slide that even non-swimmers can go on, if accompanied - great for little ones eager to do "grown-up" stuff.

They have changing areas for men and women separately, as well as a unisex changing area with cubicles and lockers, which is helpful when bringing a family.

They offer parent/toddler rates during term time as well as a combined ticket price for swimming and skating. They also have plenty of parking.

This is Doncaster's foremost leisure centre. It has a fantastic swimming pool complete with water slides, kids pool and outdoor pool.

It also holds a gym, ice rink and a squash court. They also have aerobics classes which are very good value for money. For those who aren't as athletic there is a beauty salon, a bar and a restaurant. All of which are reasonably priced and offer a good selection.

There is also the opportunity to hold private parties there. The Dome also holds regular concerts ranging from anything to popular bands including 'the feeling' to fashion shows.

This comes highly recommended to any family who struggle to find somewhere that will entertain everyone.

This is one of doncasters best attractions,there is a wide range of activities to do,they have a swimming pool with huge slides a lagoon out side were you just float along, and a kids pool with fountins, slides ect
they also have an ice ring were they hold discos in the evening and have theams such as foam parties
there are plenty of other sports and activities such as a fitness room,climbing wall, badminton spa, saunas and Jacuzzis,
lastly they hold Shows and concerts there,with acts such as comidians like chubby brown ect and concerts were they have had loads of different famous people perform .the building itself is state of the art and its an all round clean friendly and entertaining place
