Marr Grange Farm Shop is just off the A635 near the A1 and you just know you are visiting a Farm Shop as you drive down the lane between wonderful hedgerows to the ample Car Park.
It is a very clean and pleasant Farm Shop that is first and foremost a butchers, specialising in Pork but with a fine array of othe meat and game products.
They also have a very good Deli, Dairy section and fresh vegetables.
Their pies are to die for and we never visit without scoffing one in the car before we go home. My personal favourite is Steak Pie, but they have a variety. The Hunters Pie is also a favourite....I could go on!
The Staff are wonderful; so very friendly to regulars and newcomers, and very helful if you aren't quite sure which cut you need for what recipe. They always seem cheerful!
The pork is first class; as is the rest of the produce, but the pork really deserves a special mention.
All in all, the best butcher I have had for all round service, quality and value.
