To say I did not enjoy my first visit to Red’s in Derby would be an understatement. The staff were unfriendly, the drinks (and entry fee) were overpriced, the music was awful and the place appeared to be very unhygienic. This now makes clear sense to me by the fact that you can walk past almost any day in the week to see a number of homeless people living in the doorway, complete with alcohol and the inevitable skinny dog. I have to say that I, nor the group I was with when I went lasted over an hour, and soon found a different spot to go to! I would never go again, even if it manages to escape its impending end.

Badly overrated and overpriced club in which the music is far too loud and the supposedly excellent sound system regularly breaks and needs rebooting. The owner has been trying to sell this place ever since he bought it.
