Ordered a curry, It did arrive but did not resemble a curry whatsoever. It was swimming with fat, my boyfriend could pour the fat off the top of the curry it was that bad. Avoid at all costs. I wish I had read the other review prior to ordering. Rank!!! Oh and they go the order wrong.

Like most eateries in Darwen, no surprises this is yet another kebab house/takeaway.

Apart from the general level of hygiene, and not knowing exactly what may be going into your burger or kebab I'd avoid like the plague. The food is typical small town fare, mostly made of what appears to be a tray full of something, deluged in a bucket of fat.

If you order by phone, be warned you are likely to get ripped off as a few people I've known have had inflated prices quoted on the doorstep, different to what's in the menu. And consequently been charged more than the menu price. Clearly, that's also false advertising as they are charging different prices at times to what is listed in print and binding on their menus. But, really, what you've got to expect from a small town take away shop in a less than quality area.

Many have ordered by phone, for their orders not to show up. Or well over an hour from ordering. Not on a busy Friday or weekend, either.

And, quite often, no shows. When they've tried to phone, they've been met with abject rudeness. Like to try it on was the general consensus. No delivery turns up. Claim it's the customers fault. Not good service by anyone's standards.

There are far and few between good eateries in the town of Darwen which AREN'T take aways. Darwen also has the highest volume of take aways throughout Europe it is said.

But if you want good, decent food - and you know it's been well prepared, in hygienic conditions and preparation areas, not slapped together with pre-purchased frozen food you can pick up off an supermarket shelf, then re sold - and good service try elsewhere.

Or, if you don't want food poisoning, I'd really go elsewhere.

Oh, the town also boats rats running free through it's back streets.

Not a good ad, really, for take aways.
