The best wine bar in Croydon. The Wine Vaults is part of the Davy's chain and is an oasis in the centre of Croydon's busy shopping area. Useful little meeting areas and function possibilities make this popular at times for celebrations, but you can find yourself one of only a handful of people on the place even on a Friday. The great advantage that this has over the likes of All Bar One is that at least you can here your neighbour when in conversation!

A neat way to sneak out of the chaos of Croydon High Street, Davy's is hidden underneath Marks and Spencer.

Serving all the traditional Davy's fare (typically English dishes like gammon ham with new potatoes feature heavily) the food is great and the wine list is really lovely. Often have some great special offers or "wines of the month" which are worth looking out for.
