I went to 'The Coundon' for a meal with my Mum and my son, we went on the 5th of August 2008 at around lunch time. We had three meals, me and my son had the same thing, Mum had a Ploughmans lunch. The food was all cooked to perfection, except the ploughmans which didn't need cooking as it was a salad! ;P The whole pub is as clean as a pub can be, the clientel range from late teens all the way up to over 60s. The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilets were reasonably clean, I did notice that they put a page from the paper in the toilets for us to read, it's the astrology page, so that was interesting and a good talking point. I've been to the Coundon about three times now and I would definately go there again, I've never been disappointed any time I've been.
