When I first went here I assumed it was part of the Browns bar / restaurant chain. At first I was disappointed when I realised that this was not the case, then, however I was pleased. There are huge comfy sofas in this huge nicely turned out bar. It is where the young professionals turn out in droves for their weekend drinks and it’s popular for a reason. Whilst being large and airy it maintains (unlike the ultra posh Browns I was expecting and thought I wanted to go to) a friendly atmosphere and, major bonus, it sells Strawberry brothers cider – a true rarity!

This place has got such an unbelievable reputation that it has its own fan page on Facebook!! I guess it must be a truly wonderful place to visit!

Browns is a good bar in Coventry for people of all ages, they serve great food at really good prices. The drinks are well priced too. They have live music on some nights which is also good. Alot of students go there with it being close to the uni but it doesn’t got rowdy like some of the other places in Coventry do. It’s a nice bar to go and chill out in I have taken my mum, been on a date in there and been in there with my uncle and my friends so it really does appeal to everyone. The staff are friendly too!
