Until recently we didn’t have a local pub, so a few of us used to meet on a Friday evening for a take-away at the T Raj and this quickly became known as the curry club… we’ve now got a pub but still meet on a Friday!

The owner is now a friend and he, along with the other guys that work there listen. They try new dishes on us to see if they’re worth incorporating into the main menu and a personal favourite of mine is the “tempura” they give you the 1st time they see after Ramadan.

This restaurant makes itself part of the local community and the food ain't bad either
