The leisure world complex is situated just of cowdary avenue, one of colchesters busiest routes. It has a luxury spa called aqua springs, a fun pool, with spectacular blue and green flume rides, a moving rapids section, which is a bit hair raising if you bump your self as you get thrown along it, a kids more gentle play area more suited to toddlers and the faint hearted, a large swim only pool for those who just want to swim lengths, the gym, which is fully equipped, etc. The parking use to be a free for all and was difficult to get a space, but now they have installed barriers and you either validate your ticket at the centre if using it, or pay on returning to your car. This is a fairer system for those using the leisure facilities.

Colchester leisure world is on the edge of the town centre, and can be reached by walking through Castle Park if you aren’t driving there. It has the most enormous brightly coloured flumes which you will be terrified to allow your children down, but they do love it! there are various pools and jacuzzis in the centre, as well as a function room, gym section and aqua springs which is a luxury spa offering saunas, jacuzzi, massage and the works. They have full swimming facilities like lockers, showers, changing rooms and a cafe bit where you can grab something to eat. Even hairdryers! A really good day out with something for all the family.
