Reviews for Simply Living

I've used Simply Living for curtain-making and having a chair re-upholstered and would recommend their service to anyone. It was less expensive than I expected after using another shop in Colchester for curtains and the results are beautiful. The shop is also a lovely place to browse for gifts and has unusual pieces of jewellery, Emma Bridgewater pottery and lots of accessories for the home. Worth a trip down North Hill from the HIgh Street.

Simply living sells quaint old English, shabby chic style home decor and giftware. It’s a very pretty little shop, and their upstairs even has a demonstration bedroom and dining room all kitted out in the textiles and products that they sell. If you are looking for a painted teapot or a stuffed patterned heart then this is the shop for you. it is halfway down north hill though which means it’s a bit detached from the rest of town and you probably wouldn’t notice it unless you had parked down there or are visiting the college or nhs walk in centre, so do make an effort to seek out this pretty little shop.
