You can not grumble at the thought of going to Thorntons. Thorntons in Colchester is right near Culver Square, so it is very easy to walk past and get tempted by those delicious ice creams in summer! They have all the usual nice boxed chocolates and ones behind the counter that you can choose a selection of. The store is a little bit on the small side though, so when it is busy, it can be a bit of pain to look around. It is worth it though for a good gift at Christmas on a birthday, no one is ever disappointed with a nice box of Thorton’s chocs!
