Procter’s sausages is a shop in red lion walk, just off colchester high street. they always have a chalk board outside claiming that they have the best sausages in colchester, and I do tend to believe them on this! I don’t go there often as it can be expensive for some of their fancier varieties such as venison, but if you are making a special meal or wanting to impress the neighbours then you should definitely come here because it really is worth it. they can give you info about what’s in them (something you don’t get from the supermarket!!) and cooking suggestions and things like that. A very nice little sausage shop - actually, I don’t think i’ve ever seen another sausage shop.... so it’s unique!
