Minervas has been in eld lane for many years now and I have had chance to try the chocolate that they do and it is good. But it is not in any way economic to buy on a regular basis, sorry but its true. It is heavy on the wallet to shop here in any quantity, so I have only had the odd treat or two from here. They sell hand made english and belgian choccies and novelties. You can find all manner of chocs here from, honey to champagne filled ones or the unusual cinnamon in a white choc mousse. With a box of around 14 chocs at £11 they are a treat, but the taste and texture is great and worth a naughty visit to minervas now and then.

The chocolate shop in eld lane is a special place to find lovely chocolate gifts or just as a big treat for you self. The hand made chocs are beautiful, all that I have tasted have been delicious and well worth the money. The thorntons shop near by in the precinct is a cheaper and still tasty alternative. But if you want luxury then this is it.
