Reviews for Odeon Cinemas

The odeon has moved from its old location to this newer improved lay out at the head street building in the middle of the town centre. It is busy and a first choice for the teens of the town to meet up with their mates and watch a film.
There are lots of screens here and so they can show more than one film at a time. The ice cream bar has some lovely ice creams to choose form and the popcorn is a must have when you go to see a film, the cinema would not be the same with out the rustle of popcorn and sweet bags.

a good cinema with average prices to get in but over priced for food. A drink and pop corn was so expensive, we will take our own in the future. The ice cream bar looked good but again was such a lot of money and not worth it at all. We liked the seats as they are all comfortable and you can upgrade your seat to a bigger comfier one for just a pound. There are lots of small sized screens which show different films. Would go again and it does make a change from getting in dvd to watch at home.

As cinemas go this one is quite good. There are many screens so the selection of films on offer is always varied. You can book seats in advance or just turn up on the day. If you go on wednesday and you mobile is on the orange net work you buy on ticket and get on free. You need to text 121 first though to get a code to give to the cashier. There is an overpriced ice cream bar, lots of pop corn and drinks etc, but it is a bit pricey. The cinemas are quite small, as there are several of them but the sets are generally comfy and you can upgrade for £1 to a bigger seat if you like. No free parking so add this to your costings.

This Odeon is very similar to all the other Odeons in the country, although slightly more modern than some as it was only built a few years a go. It has the latest projectors and audio equipment that allow it to show the entire range of films that are released and also large sporting events. The cinema has the usual popcorn, sweets and ice-cream availiable but also has a Costa coffee attached allowing those who wish not to pay the Odeons inflated prices for a drink to pay Costas instead. Customer service has been very good whenever I've had a problem and if you take advantage of Orange wednesdays then the ticket prices can even be quite reasonable.

This odeon is a pretty good one because it was moved from several streets away about 6 or 7 years ago, so it has all been rebuilt and is very modern. it's massive too and they have escalators to the upstairs floors. There's a cool ice cream parlour where you can get tasty ben and jerrys and sit around while you wait for your film. they also have a big shop section where you can buy insanely overpriced pic n mix which has had children's dirty fingers rummaging through. So don't bother with that! The staff in all odeon cinemas are generally teenagers who think they are super-cool, so don't expect the most amazing customer service, but they are generally nice enough.
