Reviews for Waterstones
This is the "main" waterstones in colchester situated on the high street. The shop contains a vast selection of books, fiction and non fiction although this waterstones tends to contain a larger non fiction selection. The second waterstones in colchester is literaly 50m away via the rear exit and contains a larger fiction selection. between the two shops you can find pretty much any book you're looking for and if they havent got it they will order it for you. Apart from that its much like any other waterstones in the country, not the cheapest but you can often find what you need easily enough
Colchester is very lucky because it has two Waterstones book stores, although I have never entirely understood why... they are within mere feet of each other and there is no obvious difference which separates one from the other (e.g. you would think one has fiction and one has non fiction, or something - but no). They are both in Culver Square which is a shame because if they spread over town then it would probably been more beneficial for customers. It does, however, mean that if one shop doesn't have the book in stock which you are looking for, they simply ring the other and hold it back whilst you dash across the road to buy it! waterstones is a great bookshop, and although there are cheaper ways to buy books (they rarely do cheap offers), they do have an excellent range of reference and fiction.
