The chip shop and eat in restaurant that is called Geos, in clacton on sea is good. A family has run the shop for a long time and the business has lots of regular customers that return again and again for fish and chips.

I would always choose Geos for chips before any other chip shop as you know that they are freshly cooked, nice and hot and reasonable to buy.

The takeaway section has a few seats but there is another seating area behind the counter where you can dine in for a little extra.

You do not pay much more, to eat in,so it is worth it, saves on the washing up.
The waitresses are nice too.

Geos used to be an old place for meat and two veg but its a chip shop now and it is very good. The fish is always very nice and the chips are nice and crispy. They have a cafe bit where you can go and eat if you want, it does cost extra, and the takeaway which is very busy and is a bit cheaper than the eat in bit. They do chicken nuggets which are good, pies, burgers even veg burgers if you need one. It is right in the town but does not stay open all that late. My last meal here was great as is usual, well done geos.
