I rate this pretty highly for your average pub meals. They have the usual BOGOF deals like at the main chain pubs but this is quite a big place which means that there are areas suitable fir families and kids and areas which seem popular with those who are just out for a pint.

There is a really nice decked area outside with benches so that you can sit out if the weather is up to it.

To sum up its your average chain pub that sells nice food and offers great value for money. Wouldn't go there for anything special but for a bte to eat you can't beat it.

You can't fault the Hartwood with its bogof meals. Great value and food ok. Really good when you can't be bothered to cook and great for kids.
