We popped in here last weekend on the off chance having seen the menu boards outside. All I can say is what a difference a few years made since I last went in there.
It is now under new management, (Stuart the ex manager from The Dressers Arms down the road) and all I can say is what a fantasic job he is doing. He even remembered our drinks from 2 years ago. A real Landlord.
Our food was excellent, with ample portions of well cooked homemade food. Nice to see he also uses local suppliers. The prices were fantastic with our 2 main meals for under £10. We all said what excellent value it was.
The beer prices were good as were soft drinks for the drivers which is a nice change.
Very impressed and we WILL be back !!
