Reviews for Le Petit Blanc
bar is very nice but menu is now so simple it sounds like eating at cafe rouge... this used to be a good place many years ago but now i would say average. your gran would like it but how often do you take your gran for dinner
Located inside the Queens Hotel.
I ahve to say from the outside it looks like another chain brasserie (like cafe rouge) and the only hint is the Blanc name. well be reassured becuase it is linked to Raymond Blanc and I can say that I had the best meal for a long time.
I'll get down to the meat of it. Service and food were exceptional. we had a really great waiter - friendly, affable and with a bit of personality to him. really made the experience a pleasure.
The food was truly amazing - I had local free range duck for main, and gnocchi with local chard to start. Simple dishes exquistely cooked. I cant remember what hubby had but was great too. A daily specials board means there real variety.
I seriously can't recommend this place enough - dinner for two came to just over £50 and was worth every pennt - counting down the days until i go back!
