Reviews for The Everest

A great place to go for a date or as a family. Really nice décor, authentic Indian cuisine with modern twist. Well recommended for those looking to excite their taste buds. Well worth a stop if passing through Cheltenham.

Fantastic food, staff and prices! Tuesday and Thursday are buffet nights and work a treat for those who wish not to spend a lot of money on taking the family out! 5***** place and defiantly worth a try for first timers as we have been going back there for over 10 years!

One of the finest restaurants I have eaten at, the food was unbelievably tasty and the service was fantastic! A real credit to Cheltenham! Recommend the chicken Balti! One of a kind! Real man sized portions! A cut above the rest!

A fabolous evening out withf riends and family, great customer service, fantastic ambience but the most enjoyable part of the evening was sitting down to an exquisite meal consiting of freshly made food. well recommended as an evening out. Been there on tues and thurs for their buffets which is great value and an excecllent selection.

Now there’s a lot of Indian restaurants in Cheltenham and choosing one that can accommodate for a large family was a problem. Now hearing from other people that the Everest is a good place to eat I decided to give them a ring. I didn’t want my family get-together meal to let me down and had already decided on the things I required. I know of many Indian restaurants in Cheltenham that are like cardboard boxes on the inside and being part of a party of 51 I needed space! The Everest accommodated us by allowing us to have everyone sit together! There were a lot of young children with us and they accommodated us with our own private area, also ensure my disabled brother had enough space for his wheelchair (which is quite big may I ask, and other restaurants cannot accommodate him)
There also was family members who were vegetarian, which was no problem and people who didn’t like Indian, but The Everest catered for all! Not only was the food the most delicious I have ever tasted, but the atmosphere was relaxing and perfect to sit down and enjoy a real authentic Indian experience!

The Everest Balti House is a fantastic restaurant! These people really know how to serve up a proper Indian! The food is delicious and the portions are huge! In all the years I have come to the restaurant I have never been able to finish a whole meal! I went there with my mother who is disabled and they catered for her every needs and were sensitive with her disability. Being someone who enjoys her curries, The Everest surely stands out amongst all other Indians, well recommended to anyone who enjoys good food, great service and fantastic ambiance.

What an experience! Last night while walking round Cheltenham trying to find an in-expensive restaurant to eat at, I found myself at the front door of the Everest restaurant. A polite member of staff welcomed me in and showed me to my seat. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible, now I have eaten at many restaurants in my time, most being Indian, but I have never eaten food made with such care and precision as the Everest! I find it hard to eat out due to my dietary requirements but found the Everest were willing to change the ingredients on the menu to suit me! The staff were polite, courteous, respectful and the bill wasn’t that much either! They had a wide range of food available, and the atmosphere was perfect, they were busy, but yet managed to contain and relaxing atmosphere and ensure each and every customer was fully satisfied. I cannot stress enough how this restaurant stands above the rest, well recommended restaurant for those looking to change from their usual!

With work taking to Cheltenham this week having checked into the hotel I headed back into town to find somewhere more interesting that the hotel restaurant.

By luck I found the Everest. Having arrived just after 18:00 the restaurant had only just opened. Within the hour and considering that it was a Tuesday night it had become quite busy. The big attraction was the £5.99 buffet that was being offered.

I went for some main menu opitions selecting my favourite of chicken Dansak, pilau rice and a plain nann. I was very impressed the food was very fresh, the portions plentiful and the qaulity and service excellent.

If you are in the area it's worth a visit.
