We've been to the Crown twice for lunch; the first time was about a year ago when we came across it when out for a drive in the area, and again today. On both occasions we've been pleased with the quality of the food and the excellent presentation. Today we had the £11 for two courses per head menu which offered a reasonable choice (I think 3 starters, 4 mains, 3 desserts) and ended up having 3 courses which were all very enjoyable. The a la carte menu is more extensive (and expensive)...

The a la carte menu is more extensive (and expensive) and looks enticing. All in all I'd be pleased to recommend the Crown and indeed C St G as a lovely place to visit.
