I’d heard of this place from some friends of mine, so I decided to give it a try. The first surprise to me was that, unlike in continental Europe, where these places are highly visible public loos, here in Blighty you can buy something resembling food in them. So, a couple of nights ago I called up to make a reservation for two, but apparently they’re not so busy-you can just turn up and be served. Off we went then, but alas, no waitress sat us down. The specials of the day are printed on a large illuminated screen at the front of the restaurant, but failing to take our orders we upped and left. Never again! Can be found by dint of the big yellow arches, prices are reasonable enough but I can’t comment on the standard of the fare. Good luck getting served!
