i agree with a previous reviewer, this is an excellent value indian restaurant, serving pretty standard but nonetheless well executed curries and the £6.95 deal represents excellent value. In addition beer, such as kingfisher, are 2 for 1 so can't be bad. I have my usual tandoori mixed grill and it is above average, though very red (why!?). Again this is a post pub place, but i have been there when not drinking and i still enjoyed it. My recommended side dish is chick peas with spinach, also the pickles are good too..enjoy!

Nice environment and not too bad bar. The food if just normal, run of the mill indian cuisine. Very 'typical' indian if you know what I mean. The pricing is very competitive, very attractive to students. They do a 20% student discount, and also a £6.90 starter, main course and 2 sides deal. The portions are kinda small though.. so even the small eater in me managed to finish all the food I ordered from the £6.95 deal!

Overall, a good place to go for a budget meal, but there are better places around if you're willing to fork out a couple more quid.
