Gilby's Restaurant is set in an acre of grounds secluded and hidden away from the main roads with easy access to the Heritage coastline to the south. The building was converted into a restaurant in 1997.

Gilby's restaurant keeps itself to a very high standard, with excellent staff and brilliant food (both cooked and sourced well). It is certainly one of the more 'special' places to eat out in the Cardiff/Glamorgan area. Though food is delicious, the servings are allways to large especially with the main courses. It has great ambience and is very popular with couples, though the surroundings are less than great (offices and supermarkets).
