    Fantastic

Gilbys is a fantastic restaurant hidden away slightly next to the old HTV studios at Culverhouse Cross (Just behind the Copthorne hotel).

I have been a few times for Sunday lunch and am absolutely amazed by the quality of the staff and the service. They must serve so many people on a Sunday lunchtime, but it is all extremely well organised and you not feel that you are being rushed or anything is compromised.

The standard of the food was excellent and the prices were also very reasonable.

Make sure you book or you will not get a table!

I am looking forward to trying their new branch in the Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay.

    Nice Seafood / British Fare

Gilby's restaurant keeps itself to a very high standard, with excellent staff and brilliant food (both cooked and sourced well). It is certainly one of the more 'special' places to eat out in the Cardiff/Glamorgan area. Though food is delicious, the servings are allways to large especially with the main courses. It has great ambience and is very popular with couples, though the surroundings are less than great (offices and supermarkets).
