I love Toby Cavery, it is the perfect place to go for a good meal!! I have been there many times with friends and family and have always had a great service there. The carvery is really well priced and you get loads on your plate when you go up!! It is priced really well for what you get. The surroundings are great and the staff have always been really friendly. They also offer lunch and that is a really good deal. I have also know promo vouchehers to be given out quiet a lot and they are well worth using. If you have young children they give you extra plates so you dont have to pay for them and highchairs available. There is also room for you to move around. If you can book I would recommend it. Sundays are mad in there!

Despite driving past this place every day for about 2 year on my daily commute to and from work, I hadn't really paid it much attention until a news paper was running a voucher for a free ice cream with the purchase of a carvery before 7pm.
I have to say I'd been missing a treat! As previously mentioned, there is a huge choice of veg that you are free to help yourself to, and even though you only get 1 serving of meat, the portions are very generous!

By the time it came time for my 'free' ice cream, I was stuffed! Definately recommend you give it a try.

We cottoned onto the Toby Carvery concept only in the last year or so, and we probably go once a month now.

It is a great place to eat pretty well what you want from their menu of 3 types of meat, and at least 8 different veg that is on offer as part of the carvery menu. If you get there before 7pm on weekdays as well, it costs only £5 - which frankly is less than you would spend to cook the same food at home often! Plus no washing up.

Most times we go it is fairly busy, but there is no pressure to hurry up and finish your food. There is always plenty there - and although you can only get the meat once, you can go back as often as you like for the vegetables - so a great place if you have teenagers that need filling up who will eat that!

Overall - a very good cheap place to eat - I recommend it.
