Tiger Tiger is a great place to meet friends for lunch, grab some after work cocktails and a bite to eat, or enjoy a weekend party eating, drinking and dancing until late. Tiger Tiger are famous for their mix of stylish bars, extensive cocktail and wine lists and informal Grill menu, all set to a classic soundtrack.

Reviews for Tiger Tiger

Tiger Tiger seems to have improved quite a lot over recent months. It is surrounded by a selection of "cheaper" bars (Lloyds) so perhaps does stand out as being a bit more pricey.

That said if you are looking for a great cocktail, then this is the place to head to.

It does not tend to get busy until much later as everyone seems to get drunk down the road and then head to Tiger Tiger for something a bit better.

The food deals are good but does not always live up to expectations. We had our Xmas party here last year and the food was awful, so its not great for en masse catering. Maybe stick with your lunch time deals etc.

All in all, a decent bar in Cradiff but I prefer Revolution!

Traditionally a club/bar, I was surprised with the good service and food that I received at Tiger Tiger. The waiter who served us seemed more than happy to help and was both polite and friendly. They have a deal on the menu of having 3 courses for a set price which I cannot remember now but it was around a seven to ten pound saving if I had ordered all courses separately. The food was very good and was presented well. The steak I ordered came exactly how I asked it to be cooked which was refreshing a change from having it overdone like many bar meals I have had in other places. I would definitely come here to eat again.

Tiger Tiger offers a very reasonably priced lunch menu with several options for £3/4 pounds. The service is always quick enough to fit it in during lunch break and so makes a good stop for a Friday lunch. The drinks are a little pricey compared to the food. The food is sometimes a little hit and miss I have had some very good meals and sometimes it seems like the food is not as fresh as it could be.

I have also visited Tiger Tiger in the evening for a meal with friends. Again there is a very reasonably priced set menu for 2 or 3 courses. There is also a happy hour which provides good deals on wine as well as cocktails and we shared a very nice bottle of wine half price. The food on all courses was excellent and we were all full by the end. There is a nice modern atmosphere and the drinking side of the bar seems to be kept fairly separate from the food section so you can enjoy your grub in peace.
