I love this place!
I've been coming here since I can remember, as on the (very) rare occasion that we ventured into Cardiff on a saturday when I was young, we always seemed to end up at Pillars.
I agree that when you hit it at lunch time on a saturday afternnon, it seems chaotic, and I've seen so many people walk down the stairs, turn, and walk straight back up them, but if you can tolerate the chaos the food is good. And Cheap.
