I have stayed and used the spa in this hotel and to be honest I didnt really think alot of it. The spa was nice of course but the staff didnt really seem that accomodating. we also had a problem when we came to pay for our break where there was a disagreement in price. The staff were quiet rude but we got there in the end. The facilities and bedrooms were nice but Considering the price and the fact that it is supose to be a 5 star I didnt think much of it. Wwe went to eat in the bay which was really nice but I dont think I would use this hotel again. I would double check on what you are paying before you check in. It is a nice view from the hotel as it is on the waterfront. Would be very nice in the summer when you can sit outside and take in the surroundings. The bay is also a very nice place to go out in the night so is very well situated x

I visited the hotel in order to use the spa and stayed for two nights. The spa itself is wonderfull. I've only stayed at a few but the pool and water therapy are is great. The massages, facials and reflexology were all fabulous with staff taking the time to make sure you knew what was going on and advising you what to expect after e.g. being thirsty, tired etc. The relaxation room was absolutely amazing, you really can just chill and/or sleep. The large windows look out onto the bay and you can see Flatholme and Steepholm. The room was a little on the small side given the price and expectation but the balcony view was great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because on paying, the staff seem to "forget" the special spa package deal you booked under and overcharged leaving us to "debate" the charges.
