I agree with the previous reveiws about the yummiest roast dinner around, they do a fantastic roast dinner, but due to the price of meals in the granville we only go for really special family occasions.

Its a absolute fantastic place though, there menu is beutifully created and some of the dishes are breathtaking... if you don't believe me try their duck....oh my god, fantastic!!

Its a gorgeously maintained establishment also, really light and airy, not sure how you can describe it...farmhouse chic!!! is that a style..haha!!!

the staff are excellent.... the food is excellent... location excellent...prices not so excellent but to be honest you get what you pay for!!! and it is fantastic

The granville is a very nice pub to eat at. I went here to have a Christmas dinner, and in all honesty I was not overly impressed with the quality of the food. I ordered duck, and was not expecting a leg of duck, deep fried and not even seasoned. This was major let down. However I cannot fault the starter (spicy carrot soup) and the desert I had was good, traditional bread and butter pudding. The service was good, but food is more important to me.

    Awesome Food

The Granville is at the end of my road and is a truly awesome place. It may be a Shepherd Neame Pub on the outside but on the inside Gabrielle and her partner run a slick operation that caters for the more upmarket pub goer. For starters there are not many pubs near Canterbury that serve up a mean Bloody Mary with half a dozen Oysters so well. The bread is freshly baked the food is Gordon Ramsay style simple and tasty and the service is always spot on. If it were slightly cheaper I'd go there more often and give it 5 stars.
