3 of us called in on a Saturday afternoon, and although it was way after lunchtime, the staff were very obliging and we were able to order 3 excellent meals, and the beer was great too!!! Extremely good value and welcoming!! Will defitely be visiting again!

We have tried a broad range of their dishes, and they have yet to disappoint! Well once they gave me some chicken that was a little pink inside…..but nevertheless, all other dishes were very satisfactory and well worth a visit.
Try the steak...its gorgeous!
We have used them to treat a large number of family members of ours who were all thoroughly impressed.
The staff are very helpful and attentive…. The pub is very comfatable, the place is spotlessly clean and you feel really at home to be honest.
There house red is yummy, especially with the steak…washes it down very nicely…. Overall I think it deserves 10/10. I hope they continue there good standards, its nice that some pubs still have this homley feel and i hope it continues.

brilliant pub, brilliant staff and brilliant food and most of all brilliant atmosphere!!!
The reason i love this place so much is that i met my other half in there!!! so always a favouite of mine.
It has a brilliant atmosphere and often have some really good entertainment on....for eg some live music (irish bands, rock etc etc)
The food is gorgeous, i especially like the steak and also the fish and chips are gorgeous.....
The restauant is really nice, and one of the lounges has a beutiful open fire place....sooo romantic for myself and other half!!! but sure it would be for other too!!
give it a try, especially look out for when they have entertainment on.

Wow. The food here impressed me! It is a little pricey but the quality of food and portions do not let you down. One of few pubs in Canterbury that can merit 5 stars. The pub itself is lovely. A fireplace, with a no smoking areas, and a a large beer garden. Staff were great too!
