The barns is a good smart restaurant. Modern food well cooked and well presented, and definitely value for money.

The staff and owneras are friendly as are the customers. Whether you want a lunchtime bar meal, a quiet meat for two, or a birthday part fopr 20 the Barns can provide it.

I can recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food in an unpretentious atmosphere

the place to be seen in - if you want to become a freemason, rotary club or round table member - failing that i cannot for the life of me work out why its so popular. And popular it is too - full of that lovely new breed of people - chavs with money. All cash & no class, they clique together in this barn converted pub/restaurant. Alledgedly its popularity stems from the food, but if thats the case People of Cannock: YOU NEED TO GET OUT MORE!! Food is average at best, having eaten their several times now i don't get the stampede. In its defence its the nearest pub to home (always a good start) & is one of the few pubs left that still sells Carling Premier. that got it an extra star, cos its a 1 star place beyond that for me.
