Reviews for Bella Italia
This branch of the Italian chain is in the rather soulless Cambridge Leisure complex, and has other branches locally in the Grafton Centre and Newnham. The room is large and pleasant and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The children's menu is simple and good value - pizza, pasta or chicken and chips, plus drink and ice-cream for about a fiver. The main menu is varied and I recommend you check out the specials board - the tuna pizza is delicious, but strangely enough never makes it onto the main menu. The desserts are all a bit creamy for my liking - tiramisu, banoffee pie - maybe something fresh like a fruit salad wouldn't go amiss after all that rich pasta? A word of warning about the temperamental locks in the ladies' loos - they are either broken, or place you in danger of being locked in - so don't let small children go in my themselves!
For families taking advantage of Clubcard deals, a game of bowling at Tenpin followed by a meal at Bella Italia can all be subsidised by your Tesco vouchers.
