Reviews for The Lucky Star
This popular Chinese buffet is situated on the first floor of the Cambridge Leisure development, beside the cinema. It's a no-frills kind of place, but it's clean and welcoming and the food turnover is high, meaning that trays are refreshed regularly. There is a good choice of starters, meat and vegetable main dishes. Dessert is simple - fruit salad and ice-cream. The ice-cream, it has to be said, is pretty low quality but the kids don't seem to mind. It's a good place to take the family as the staff are welcoming and there is always a tray of chips for the unadventurous. The lunch menu is very good value. In the evening, dinner is more expensive as in addition to the buffet, there is a teppanyaki counter where you can select your own meat, fish and vegetables to be cooked how you like it. A perfect place for a post-cinema bite, a family meal or for large parties.
