Reviews for Cafe Carrington
Cafe Carrington is a little gem of a place tucked down a flight of stairs next to Crabtree and Evelyn. It is very popular so there may be a queue and it's a little cramped, but it's worth the wait. The food is wholesome, fresh and appetising - walk quickly past the cakes and sandwiches (don't worry, you can come back later) and you will find a fantastic spread of home-baked quiches, pies, lasagnes, macaroni cheese, soups and salads. The baked potatoes are worth a mention too - toppings are generous and you'd better tell the staff if you don't want butter! Toasted sandwiches can be cooked to order, as can chips and kids' meals. Cafe Carrington also has a branch at the Grafton Centre (making a better option if you have a buggy), and in Ely, near Waitrose.
