I spent a fair bit of time in Starbucks just recently as had several hours to kill over two days and it just happened to be dry (weather was shocking) and nearby! The service was efficient and friendly, they managed to cope with a broken dishwasher on the second day so I had a paper cup rather than china which I can live with.

The food at Starbucks is obviously pretty uniform across the company but I must say their skinny peach and raspberry muffin is lush!! I'd love to know how many calories are in it as it's way too nice to be very low.

What really spoilt my visit to this branch was the toilet. It was foul, very unclean and frankly left me retching. There was a lot of paper lying around and it just did not look like it had been checked for quite a while. I found myself having to warn the people coming in to prepare them, not a nice experience at all :-(
