I went for a pizza here the other day with a couple of my mates.

It was a weekend but we were seated almost immediately, without having to wait for tables, etc. (there as 7 of us). the place is nice clean and family friendly. staff is helpful and lovely. waiting time was not too long (compared with PH).

the pizzas we ordered was nice and delicious. Generous toppings and the base was also nice. The meat on the pizza was not too dry and the vegetables are not burnt, which is good. There was an excellent choise of pizzas and sides. Good choice of drinks as well. the waitress who served us was lovely and was very patient while we deliberated whether to go for chichken or meat. etc.

price range was within budget and ok. Not too expensive and great tasting food. Highly recommended.

Pizza Express is the ‘pizza chain’ restaurant of Park Street. It is situated just off the top of Park Street, opposite Blackwells the bookshop. Offers the usual wide range of pizzas, various toppings & extras, and a good choice of desserts & drinks. Very family friendly, & run mostly by uni students. They are quite happy for the huge pizzas to be shared. Competitively priced, given the number of other pizza places on Park Street, & certainly a grade above Pizza Hut & the other mass-market pizza chains. Worth a visit, but remember to book on weekends, as it can get very busy.

Whenever our scouse family visit we eat here.Freshly made pizzas, which you watch being made.Every type of pizza is available. The salads are large enough to share between two people.Staff are curteous and helpful.Ideal for families, as staff supply play packs, and will make small pizzas if asked.

Prior to my visit here I had never been to a Pizza Express as there are none where I live. I'd heard it talked about and decided to give it a try, I was certainly not disappointed. The food is freshly prepared in front of you, the staff are polite and helpful and the food tastes fantastic. Sure it is more expensive than Pizza Hut but when you taste the food you'll certainly know why. I only wish there was a Pizza Express in my city.
