It's the first burger restaurant that I've ever walked into in Bristol, infact in the South West, that offered me brilliant quality food at great prices, in a trendy, unique and modern environment.
My favourite: The tropical burger - Aberdeen Angus Beef chargrilled and sandwiched between a slice of traditional cheddar and sweet pineapple. My mouth is watering thinking about it!

Sorry have to totally disagree with the other reviews, thank goodness someone is doing something different in our little town it's great and it isn’t a big chain. I wondered in to this funky space-like burger bar not expecting much, I just fancied a burger instead of a sandwich and was surprised with a quality crispy chicken burger a wicked shake … yeah I can imagine it’s a bit scary for people who’s only used to greasy kebabs and burger king cos it’s proper quality and it’s affordable. Two thumbs up for YoYo

Have to agree with the above review. I didn't like anything about this place to be hopnest. The location is stupid, noone will ever go there.

The decor is tacky and the less said about the downstairs eating area the better. This could have been forgivable if the burger was good but it wasn't. It was low quality meat, a cheap bun in tatty packaging.

I would definiteky advise people to not waste their money on this palce, if you want a cheap greasey butger go to burger king

Recently opened in a far corner of the "less fashionable" side of the Clifton Triangle is Yo Yo Burger Station. Competition on The Triangle is pretty fierce for restaurants and take-aways and their out-of-the-way location really lets them down in terms of passing traffic. However the lack of a good burger joint in Clifton encouraged a friend and I to visit for a mid-week lunch.

First impressions are that it's bright and clean. A couple of TV displays hang from the roof listing the array of burgers (beef, lamb, chicken or veggie) as well as sides and drinks. The price for a double burger, fries and a drink isn't unreasonable but it's pricier than a trip to Burger King.

You can either take your burger away or eat-in in the basement seating area. The basement is all clever lighting and white walls. A single wedge shaped table is in the centre of the room with fixed stools around it. Seating is limited and not suitable for groups. Quite distracting too are the TVs embedded into the tables showing music TV to accompany the music piped into the restaurant.

The food was a seriously mixed bag. The fries were light, crispy and not over salted. The burger bun and the Portabella mushroom strips were tasty and mouth sized. So it's a real shame that the star of the show, the burger, was such a disappointment. It tasted like a frozen cheap supermarket burger - no real taste and a strange mouth feel that leaves you wondering about the provenance of the meat contained in it. There are dozens of places around Bristol serving far better tasting home made burgers. Hopefully this is something they can quickly rectify because a burger joint serving such mediocre burgers will surely not last that long.
