This harvester is generally very good for families. There is a hige fish pond in the middle of the restaurant, which is very entertaining for children (though the barrier around it is very low, so young ones need to be supervised!). There is sometimes a long wait time at this restaurant, though generally I have found we were seated before the stated wait time. The food is not spectacular, but is generally well cooked & the wait staff are attentive.
For those with young children it may not be so appropiate - the highchairs provided are not well maintained, & several times we have been seated somewhere highly inappropiate for the placement of a highchair. Take your own booster seat instead if you have one!
Generally good restaurant if you're not expecting anything too upmarket.

The very best thing about this Harvester is the massive pond in the middle with hundreds of fish. We were seated at a table which looked directly over the water, and my 5-year old daughter sat there without moving for 2 hours - she loved it and we could enjoy our meal in peace.

The food was standard Harvester fare - it was good but nothing special. The Service by the waiting staff was great though - they were quick and attentive. The salad bar all looked fresh and we certainly got value for money. The restaurant offers and early-bird deal - if you order before 6pm you get 1/3rd off all food, which is fantastic as it pays for at least 1 drink each, making it a cheap night out.

I love this Harvester they have a big fish pond in the middle of the restaurant with some nice fish in it, though not for your dinner. This is a nice and clean spaceous and convenient testaurant. They have a salad bar and you can go and fill up your bowl any time all the time with the freasly presented salad and vegetable to acomplish your dinner. Good choice of food and very reasonable prices. We like the Chicken spitroast. Children always enjoy their little meals full of healthy stuff. Very good for families as they have high chairs and don't mind if your little one makes a big mess. Very friendly staff, always have a smile to give. They do an early bird offer before 6pm ,which is abouth a third cheaper. This is very close to the snuff mills so you can just stoll down along the river for a lazy afternoon.
