An excellent local pub. Reasonably priced bearing in mind it is with in a large (ish) city. This pub is quite convenient for Bristol Zoo if you are taking the kids there and fancy some where to eat on the way back, although to me it seems more of a student / young person pub – nice and modern and trendy. That said you get a good mix of people in there and the staff are extremely helpful and polite. Food is excellent, really tasty. But the best perk of all is, of course, that Alma Tavern is the only theatre pub in Bristol!
