Amoeba is an intimate, cosy little treasure of a bar. The daytime vibe is continental cafe, the evenings stretch until 1.30am with plenty of funk/soul music, Belgian beers and the odd cocktail or two. Popular with students and professionals alike, it's a perfect venue for birthdays and private parties.

Reviews for Amoeba

Amoeba is a cool and funky hidden little bar in Clifton Village, open late and doubling up as a cafe by day. The speciality is a great range of drinks and a cosy ambience. It's perfect as a party venue, the downstairs and garden are free to hire any night, and the laid back atmosphere makes it great for casual get togethers. Get 241 cocktails in the week, or relax with a Belgian wheat beer in the heated garden. Yum.

Great place!! Had an amazing 30th birthday party here, and it was free to hire, definately worth a visit. Apparently it's cosy and laid back in the week, but I've only been at weekends when most of the furniture gets put away and the DJs get everyone feeling jolly and dancing and the bar staff make you lots of lovely cocktails. Nice garden too with lots of candles, and open late, I think til 1am!!
