Long awaited changes!
The Rising Sun reopens Wednesday 24 Oct 2007 as Bar BS3
The modern front bar will boast two giant screens, 4 large plasma TV’s together with cinema quality surround sound, making it ‘the’ venue for watching all live TV sport. A full entertainment programme of live bands, disco nights, karaoke, quiz and race nights will also run throughout the week.
The refurbished skittle alley and new pool table keep their places to house the many teams who will now be based at Bar BS3. The back bar will have a quieter more traditional lounge feel.
A top quality grill menu, cooked on the newly installed charcoal grill, will be served seven days a week at lunchtimes and evenings. Other facilities on offer include a function/meeting room, free WiFi internet access and a full range of gourmet coffees.
