I must admit I used to go very regularly to this place ~ it's cheap and central and we could always find a table and smoke.

Now I refuse to enter the place due to 2 really awful experiences (namely 2 birthday celebrations gone wrong).
Weekday lunch-times the staff seemed to cope, however on a saturday night catering to a large group the staff were awful.
They were rude, the waiters were looking fter too many covers, they couldn't speak english and we had to wait 45mins for our starters to arrive.
We also had some lad walk in from the street; undo his trousers, wop his bits onto the table and ask "would we like pepperoni with that!?"... the meal was a disaster.
After speaking to the restaurant manager I was informed that I would get a free drink when I next visited as an apology!! er I have never been back.

I have tried other restaurants owned by the same family/team and they are equally poor and tastless.
